@mayel within Warwick, often by bumping in to people around campus, at events, workshops, or sometimes just in the queue for coffee and starting a conversation. Perhaps this is a nice digital version of that!

@mayel My project is funded by Gates Foundation, and is originally a project lead by HAT MEPP. They called in CIM and Cagatay to work on integration of a LLM in the interface presenting the predictive modelling outputs related to sleeping sickness.
Usually it is far from obvious on how one would get into contact with researchers of other groups to dig further a draft idea...
@mayel as a PhD student, my collaborations are often enabled by my supervisors. For example, I was invited to help organise the AI&Society Interdisciplinary Symposium as a research assistant.
